Guilford Interfaith Hospitality Network
The Guilford Interfaith Hospitality Network is part of a national, non-profit organization that assists religious and community organizations in developing and operating Network programs. Their goal is to alleviate homelessness by fostering the development of Networks that provide shelter, meals, and assistance for homeless persons, and that increase community involvement in direct service and advocacy.Four times a year St. Christopher's has the supreme privilege to host or assist guests from GIHN. Twice a year St. Christopher's host guests and during the two other times, St. Christopher's assists Christ United Methodist.How can I help/get involved?
Opportunities to serve include donating food, meal preparation, overnight stay, laundry, set-up and breakdown, and van driver. |
