EYC—Episcopal Youth Community

6th through 12th Grades

 

 

Sunday Matinee following the 9 AM service—Each Sunday youth will meet for an unique Sunday school program, where we will combine movie viewing, scripture and open candid discussion.

 

Sunday Youth Discussion During the 5 PM Service.  Each Sunday evening the youth will meet for an Open Discussion forum Sunday school.

 

EYC—Youth Group will be held each Sunday, unless otherwise stated from 3:00 PM to 4:45 PM.  Each month of the school year we will incorporate the following

 

           1) Visit to another Youth group

           2) Outreach Opportunity

           3) Fun, fellowship event

           4) Biblical/Formation event

 

Youth Mission Trip—We will again be planning for a Summer Mission Trip, we will hold a planning meeting on Sunday, September 14 at 3:00.  Parents and youth who are interested in the 2009 Trip should be in attendance.  We will be fundraising for the trip during the months of October and April.

 

 

Diocesan Youth Conference—The Bishop’s Ball—Dec. 5-7 A Youth Conference is a weekend away from it all, meeting new people, making new friends, having lots of fun and exploring your faith. Conferences are designed and led by youth, so you can relate to the activities and the message. There are small groups, recreation and sports, art, cool workshops, worship, music, skits and a variety of presentations. So come by yourself, bring a friend or a whole troop from your church, the friendly people at the Summit await you! The cost for the weekend is only $90, and scholarship money is available!
