Harry Potter Vacation Bible School - Wizards and Wonders
August 9 through 13 ~ 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. Dinner ~ 6:15 to 8:15 p.m. Program ~ Based on the Harry Potter books, this is one of our most popular resources for a Sunday School break or VBS. A five session program that brings your whole church family together for fun and learning, Wizards and Wonders will surprise you in how well it deals with Christian themes in the popular children's series. Through drama, crafts and games, participants connect the hero's story to Bible stories. In an engaging set of experiences, mirroring some of Harry's, you will explore issues of identity, alliances, team work, spiritual gifts, life's direction, temptations, moral choices, courage and faith. This program is not authorized by or affiliated with J.K. Rowling or Scholastic Press. You must view the movie and/or purchase the book to learn the story and characters as this resource assumes that familiarity and does not provide the storyline.
