Blood Drive
Saturday, October 30. Please call the office at 336-869-5311 to sign up or email the office at office@st-christopher.org. This is the perfect opportunity to make a donation! Fall Halloween Blood Drive 10:00AM - 2:30PM here at the church.
Open Door Shelter - WE NEED SERVERS! WE NEED COOKS!
Another opportunity to serve is at the Open Door Shelter (homeless shelter) dinner. On the 4th Sunday, every other month, we feed around 150 people. We use a standard casserole recipe (cuts down on the arguments about who wants what!). We need about 18 casseroles and I will put the recipe on the end of this newsletter. Please call, email, or sign up at church so we know who and how many are planned. We need a few extra adults to serve as you are always helpful! THE NEXT DATE IS THIS SUNDAY, AUGUST 22 BE THERE BY 5:00PM
Job Bank
Are you unemployed/underemployed with skills useful around a home? Carpentry, plumbing, cleaning, computers, yard work whatever??? OR, do you need help with tasks around the home? Carpentry, plumbing, cleaning, computer, yard work whatever? …. You get the idea! We want to set up a job bank so people who need can be connected with people who do. Contact the office with either skills or needs (office@st-christopher.org or 869-5311) and we will serve as the coordinator.
