FOSTER CHILDREN

Through one of our families who fosters children, we became aware of a special need for them.  Many of the children are taken from their homes suddenly and with few personal affects.  Many of them leave home with their clothes and toys in a trash bag.

At the same time, many of us have luggage we never use sitting in closets.  We bought some new things and just never got rid of the old.

Put need and resource together and we have a great, simple ministry!  Periodically the congregation is invited to bring in their unwanted (good condition) luggage and it is shared with the foster parents association.
