Angel Trees

During the pre-Christmas season so many of us want to do something different, something that actually has the spirit of Christmas involved.

"Angel Trees" are one way of doing that.  St. Christopher's takes a bit of a different approach.   We work with a local agency and provide gifts to people with severe disabilities.   Our priest, Ken Kroohs, says the first time he saw a 40+ year old man jump on Santa's lap, laughing  because he got a Barney toy, the spirit of Christmas was clear.

We also worked with another, frequently unserved population which is children in foster care.  So other a child has been placed in foster care, moved around, and has little to look forward to at Christmas.  Our efforts give them a tiny glimpse of God's love.
